two vehicles over a quarter mile (400m), pretty boring huh, I
dont think so. The Top Fuel Dragster, the kings of the
sport are simply the most unbelivable cars on the planet. There
is no vehicle on the planet not even a jet fighter that can
accelerate faster than a Top Fuel Dragster or a Nitro Funnycar
from a standing start. These volatile missiles with wheels can
accerate from 0 to 60mph (100km/h) in just 0.7 of a second
leaving with a force of 5 G's they reach 260mph (416km/h) by half
track (200m) in just 3 seconds and rocket past the finish line at
over 325mph (520km/h) in just 4.5 seconds, simply awesome stuff
and thats when everything goes to plan. But when all their 6000hp
decides to bite back the results can be simply devastating to say
the least. Lets not forget, blown alcohol powered 200 mph
doorslammers, dragsters and funnycars, nitro fueled Top Fuel
bikes and 6 second carbouretted Pro Stock sedans and bikes all
the way down to the under 16 year old junior dragster pilots.
